“The other nominees are Senior DJs but I think I got the award because of God. I prayed and talk to my God that I want the Best DJ of the Year and my God granted me the wish,” she said.

Touching on claims from certain quarters that she was given the award because the organiser, DJ Merqury was part of her management team, the award winner clarified that Merqury was not her manager but a father (mentor) figure who helps her and other DJs.
