I didn’t know Zylofon Media had plans to sign Shatta Wale –Stonebwoy reveals

It’s turning out that the rumour making rounds that Stonebwoy may leave Zylofon Media could be true as it’s now thickening by the minute.

Stonebwoy has revealed in an interview that he knew nothing about Zylofon Media signing Shatta Wale.

Stonebwoy in a radio interview stated that he knew nothing about Zylofon Media signing Shatta Wale, implying that he only got to know on the day Shatta Wale was officially unveiled.

Well, it’s not compulsory for Nana Appiah or management of Zylofon to inform other artistes on their label about their decision to bring whoever they want to bring, but one would have expected that because of the calibre of Stonebwoy and being in the same genre as Shatta Wale, he would be informed prior to the signing of Shatta Wale–well, his opinion doesn’t really matter right?

Recall, Ghbase.com shared a story with you about how Stonebwoy was feeling intimidated at Zylofon as Shatta Wale was doing all the work and seems to be a favorite of Nana Appiah Mensah.

Sources say, it’s one of those reasons Stonebwoy wants to pack his bags and move back to been on his own but Bulldog has rubbished those rumours, as he’s said in an interview that, he has not received any letter of termination from Stonebwoy and that everything was smooth between them.

In the same interview, which we’ve attached below as well, the host of the show, questioned Stonebwoy what he thinks, about rumours that Shatta Wale was signed because he (Stonebwoy) was not promoting Zylofon effectively on Social media like Wale is doing.

In response to that question, the ‘Mighty Lele’ singer answered by saying that, if it was what Zylofon Media wanted and felt it would help the label, hence the need to sign Shatta Wale, for the best interest of the record label, then there’s no problem with that at all.
