Afropop Dancehall Musician Kelvinboy has reacted to the viral video that sees him snubbing Wendy Shay when he was exchanging pleasantries with Bullet, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi.
In the video that went viral on social media, the “Ginger” hitmaker was spotted snubbing the “Uber Driver” hitmaker.
Wendy Shay was standing in line with her manager, Bullet, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi when Kelvin walked into the conference room to greet them.
But after shaking hands with Bullet, Kelvin Boy quickly snubbed and hugged Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
According to the Burniton Music groups signed artist, he never intended to embarrassed Wendy Shay by snubbing her but rather he was in haste to join his bosses for a photograph.
Explaining the unfortunate incidence, he told DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa that, he didn't snub Wendy Shay intentionally but rather it was just his day to trend.
"Wendy Shay is like my younger sister, I didn't even know I snubbed Wendy Shay until I saw the video on my way home, believe me, I didn't snub her deliberately. It was just my day to trend"
Kelvin furthered that, Wendy Shay winning the Best New Artiste of the Year is not his problem but on the day, both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy had stretched their hand to shake him and moreover, he was in a hurry to join them to take the photo that’s why he missed hugging or greeting Wendy Shay not because he is grudging her or otherwise.
He added that, "I called Bullet so many times that very day when the thing happened but he didn't answer so maybe it's him wants to create a beef and ride on it"
Kelvinboy is currently promoting his new single "Nana Ama".
