Despite many top industry players having stated categorically that Ghanaians like profane songs and once a song is composed around that it becomes an instant hit because sex sells, 3 Music Awards 2019 ‘Music woman of the Year’, Adina, says she will always produce songs devoid of profanity.

Speaking with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM, the singer and actress said she is focused and won’t ever follow the masses by using profane words in her songs just to praise Ghanaians.

She indicated that she does songs that could be listened to by her mother and even when she gives birth she would be able to play with her kids.

“There are certain things that I won’t put into my songs. It’s peculiar. I don’t wanna use some words. They should be songs that my mom can listen to.” she disclosed

Adina, real name Adina Thembi Ndamse, earlier this year intimated that if she will date a sports personality, it will be based on the person’s attitude and not his money.

Sports personalities across the world have not been successful with relationships and money.

But according to Adina, money cannot buy her love and therefore she will rather look at the attitude which will bring her happiness.

She mentioned that throughout her lifetime, Abedi Pele has been her favourite sports personality.

Adina said “He [Abedi Pele] is the sports personality I like best because when I was young, he was the champion and I admired how he played football”.
