Most often Bill Asamoah plays the role of a lover boy or a womanizer, a character that most people think is who he is in reality.
Talking to Nana Ama McBrown, host of Aben Show on UTV, he said he is not a womanizer.
“I am not a womanizer, people need to get this, I act and the roles they see me play is someone’s script and it’s being directed by another, I have to give it my best because that is what I am being paid for.
“More importantly, I am a family man and there is no way I would just go about doing all kinds of things that will tarnish my image and that of my family. I am not who they see on television,” he said.
Bill Asamoah started his acting career in 2002; he played alongside the likes of Nadia Buari, Kalsoume Sinare and Jackie Appiah in glamour movies.
He won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Kumawood Awards in 2011 and in the following year won the same award.
Having played in both English speaking and Twi language movies, he is known for movies like Known for movies such as Azonto Ghost, Gh Shaolin, Fakye, Sika, Choice, Poposipopo and I know My Right.
