I don’t feel threatened – Kwabena Kwabena

Ghanaian highlife artiste, Kwabena Kwabena, has stated that musicians are not a threat to each other as many would like to believe.

Speaking exclusively to TV3, the ‘Asor’ hitmaker said, it was rather disappointing to be asked this question about whether or not he feels threatened by other musicians in the industry over and again.

“Why is everybody using that word [threatened],” he screamed. “It’s a very bad word to use because this is music and it’s supposed to be a celebration."

Wearing a smile now, he added what seems to be a perfect response to a question that doesn't seem to go away, “I always have this saying everywhere I go and that is who goes to a party to dance to one song? Well, if you don’t, then why should musicians be a threat to each other.

“We entertain the audience and that is what we are here to do so I don’t see the reason why anybody should be a threat to another ”.

Kwabena Kwabena is set to release his latest album this April.
