Singer Patapaa, born Justice Amoah, has broken his silence concerning an alleged ongoing process which will end his marriage to Liha Miller.
Mr and Mrs Amoah married in January 2021. However, in a recent interview, Liha, a German of Turkish heritage, revealed she had not seen her husband since they got married in Agona Swedru, Central region, Ghana.
She said she was also in the process of divorcing Patapaa and had informed his parents.
"We are officially married because we did the court marriage and in Ghana it is a process. I have asked for a divorce, so we are in the process of it. The thing is, I have not spoken to Patapaa directly. I have only spoken to his parents. Patapaa and I have not spoken in years.
"The last time I saw him was after our wedding before I left in 2021. After that we haven't met. I think it's been more than a year, getting to two years, we are not even talking at all. I already asked for a divorce for a long time but he did not take it seriously. The marriage did not work out," the socialite and actress said.
Speaking on Angel TV, Hiplife star Patapaa has confirmed Liha's revelation, explaining his silence was because "we signed the marriage in court, so I cannot disrespect the judges who joined us in holy matrimony. That is why I don't talk about it."
The One Corner hitmaker also had a revelation to make, categorically saying he had no love for Liha and never proposed to her.
Additionally, he insinuated his wife took advantage of him in search of fame.
"Liha tapped into my blessings to become famous, so whenever she gets the opportunity, she tries to infuriate me so that I will talk back and get her in the trends. I don't love her, and I never proposed love to her," the singer and rapper said.
A year after their marriage, Patapaa and Liha Miller experienced public turmoil when the latter became active in the comedy industry.
Patapaa protested, arguing his wife was exposing too much of her body in comic skits she shot in Nigeria.
