Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Beverly Afaglo, has shared some of the challenges she faces trying to balance her busy schedule with family life.
As reported by graphic.com.gh, Beverly Afaglo, in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, shared how her demanding career and business, Traffic Shawarma, impacts her relationship with her daughters, whom she shares with Praye Honeho, a former member of Praye.
Beverly Afaglo expressed her guilt over not spending enough quality time with her children due to her tight schedule.
She added that she is usually burdened with activities like attending events or interviews and managing her business, leaving little time for her family.
“I have very tight schedules as an actress and entrepreneur and I must say that sometimes, it affects my children because I don’t get to spend as much time with them as I should. They miss out on quality time and attention from me.
“I always have this event to attend or an interview somewhere because I’m a public figure. In addition to that, I’m running a business too, which takes my time. love my children so much and would love to spend lots of mummy time with them, which is not happening often and I always feel guilty about that,” she stated.
She also explained how her children dislike the attention from fans, stating, “My children don’t like the cameras, so when we go out and people recognise me and want to take pictures with all of us, they don’t like it.”
Before her acting career, Afaglo hosted TV3’s Music Music and Beauty & Style on Metro TV. She debuted in Venus Film’s The Return of Beyonce and has since appeared in several movies, including Single Six, Big Girls Club, and King’s Bride.
