Popular Ghanaian TikToker Obaa Cee has shared her experience with well-known Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, at an event.

She recounted that before his performance in the United States of America (USA) for an awards event some months ago, she actively promoted his appearance on her social media channels and the radio station where she works.

Her promotional efforts were successful, drawing a large crowd to the event. Yet, he refused her request when she asked for a picture with the one-time VGMA Artiste of the Year.

Speaking on The Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, which GhanaWeb monitored, Obaa Cee stated that KiDi's behaviour left her feeling embarrassed and wounded.

"Before his arrival [in the US], I was the one advertising him [KiDi] to the public for commercials. People from neighbouring towns attended because of my promotions. I could have charged a fee, but since we're from the same hometown I didn't ask for anything. I hoped for a personal moment with him, maybe even a photo. But when I approached him, he crossed his arms, signalling he wasn't open to interacting, and he completely ignored me. That incident left me feeling embarrassed," she revealed when asked about her connection with KiDi.

The TikToker stated that despite the pain she endured, she had forgiven the artiste.

It will be recalled that when Obaa Cee attended the event where KiDi was also present, she wanted to interact with the renowned musician.

KiDi saw Obaa Cee making several attempts to draw his attention for a video, calling his name repeatedly, and trying to get him to face the camera.

However, KiDi's reaction was not as she anticipated. The artiste seemed uninterested, overlooking Obaa Cee's efforts to interact with him.

The video of this encounter quickly spread on TikTok, eliciting responses from Ghanaians.

Numerous social media users commented on the video to voice their dissatisfaction with KiDi's conduct, criticising it as impolite and unbecoming for a public figure.
