Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton has opened up on her six-year journey to motherhood.

She is thankful that during this time, she faced no pressure from family or friends regarding her struggle to conceive.

In an interview with Caleb Nii Boye, Diana stated, “There were no issues or pressure from my in-laws or my family. Even my manager was unaware that I was trying to conceive. My husband and I wanted a child, but neither of us felt pressured; all our families did was pray for us.”

She continued, “Of course, as a woman, you can’t help but worry as the years go by. By the second year, you start to feel anxious; by the third, you may find yourself crying; and by the fourth, it becomes increasingly worrisome. You might also hear a few unsettling comments that can shake your confidence.”

Diana, has however, encouraged those experiencing similar struggles to trust in God.

“His word promises that there shall be no barren in His house, and at the right time, God will answer. I advise them to enjoy their marriage during this waiting period because once children arrive, things will change. And, of course, pray,” she said.
