Gospel Ghanaian musician, Perez Musik, has shared the story of how he had a turnaround after experiencing a heartbreak.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, the "Hewale Lala" hitmaker indicated that a fellow industry player was having an affair with his then-girlfriend.

According to him, the news hit him so badly that he ended up giving his life to Christ.

"Somebody in the industry was hitting on my girlfriend. I met him with my girlfriend one time and when I turned my back, he took her number. So, one day, I took his phone to call someone, and that was when I got to know he was having an affair with my girlfriend," he explained.

Perez Musik added that the incident affected him negatively and due to that, he barely makes new friends.

"Now, my friends from those days are still my friends. He (Frank) is the only person I am comfortable with. I barely made new friends because of what happened between my ex and me," he added.

Perez Musik is a gospel musician who has several songs to his credit.

His well-known song, "Hewale Lala" currently has over 2 million views on YouTube after winning the 24th TGMA for Songwriter of the Year and Best Male Vocal Performance awards.
