Father of late Dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has said he has no information concerning his late daughter’s foundation.

According to him, Ebony’s management team led by Bullet never contacted him to discuss issues about the foundation with him.

“I had no idea about Ebony‘s foundation that Bullet was talking about and nobody contacted me on that.” Nana Poku Kwarteng on Hitz FM

A tribute and vigil concert was held in Ebony’s honour at the La Trade Fair Centre in Accra on March 23.

Some of Ghana’s top artistes performed at the tribute concert which was a prelude to the funeral service of the late Ghanaian artiste.

The CEO of Ruff Town records and Midas Touch Inc., told the public the reason for the ten cedis (GHC10.00) gate fee is to help launch a foundation to cater for accident victims at the various health institutions on behalf of the late Ebony Reigns.

Bullet added that part of the amount would be used to support the organization of the funeral on March 24, 2018 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

In an earlier interview Nana Poku Kwarteng said the he cannot challenge Ebony’s manager, Bullet if he claims to have written all of Ebony’s songs.

According to him, even though that assertion has been held by many, he knows Ebony to be a very good songwriter.

He made this revelation in an interview with Prince Tsegah on Hitz FM’s “You Sey Wetin” program on Monday.

Mr Kwarteng further noted that before Ebony met Bullet, she had couple of songs compiled as a demo that got Bullet’s attention to sign her onto the RuffTown record label.

“I can’t challenge that because I wouldn’t know. I didn’t think he should talk about that because it’s not necessary. The lady [Ebony] is not around to challenge that fact. We know him to be a songwriter. Ebony also writes songs. She has about 20 unreleased songs. I know her to be a writer…” he told Prince Tsegah.
