A member of defunct Dobble music group, Paa Kwasi says his progress since going solo has been remarkable and is sure of chalking greater successes soon.

Paa Kwasi who just released a single titled ‘I don’t care’ in an interview on Atinka TV’s Juke Box said his achievement as a solo artiste is commendable because he has become a force to reckon with.

“If you’re mentioning top five highlife acts, you can’t leave out Paa Kwasi. That shows how impressive the progress is” he noted.

Recounting how he executed his plan, he told host, Oforiwaa that “when you’re starting, it’d be hard for people to accept what you’re bringing. I called myself established upcoming artiste because I’m not knew but I’m starting from a different point. As time goes on, people will get used to it.”

He continued, “For me, it has been been quicker than I thought. In less than two years, we’ve won awards, been to places” adding that he is happy as a solo artiste because his achievements are bigger than Dobble’s.

Dobble, made up of Paa Kwasi and Enwai collapsed two years ago after they had worked on the ‘Christy’ song. The song was adjudged Most Popular Song of the Year at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Paa Kwasi after leaving the Dobble group has released songs like ‘Nipa Dasani,’ ‘Abe,’ ‘Be Warm Me,’ ‘Asete’ among others.
