Jacob Ampomah, the father of Tawiah Ampomah, the child who tragically lost his life in LilWin's car crash, shared details of his medical condition as he receives treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

He explained that the medical team has diagnosed a severe injury in one of his legs, resulting in fractures in his bone tissues. Surgery is deemed necessary to fix his leg and aid in his recovery after the devastating accident.

"I was involved in the collision with LilWin’s vehicle. The doctors have recommended surgery because some bones in my leg are fractured and require surgical intervention. They've advised me to return home and come back to the hospital for the surgery in two weeks," he shared in a video posted by Marigyata on Instagram.

The news of LilWin's car accident on May 25, 2024, deeply saddened the Ghanaian community.

The accident occurred in front of Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi, where LilWin's Benz collided head-on with another vehicle, resulting in injuries to him and two others.

All those injured, including LilWin, were taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Despite his injuries, LilWin made an appearance at the premiere of his latest film, "A Country Called Ghana," at the KNUST CCB Auditorium on the same day. The police are actively investigating to determine the cause of the accident and provide closure to the case.

In the meantime, LilWin's management has promised to support the grieving family following the loss of their child.
