Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Lydia Forson, says she is not controversial as people have tagged her.
The actress in an interview on “Personality Profile” on Drive Time on Joy FM Thursday night, said it surprises her when she hears people say she is outspoken and controversial.
“I don’t attack anything little as people say. When there is anything out there, I’m going to say my piece of mind, I don’t know whether I’m a feminist or not.
I don’t actually like the word feminism because I don’t believe in this right for women thing but right for humans. Maybe people will call me that but I have never stood anywhere to call myself a feminist.”
She denied it when Lexis Bil, host of the show said “as a celebrity you need to come up with something controversial to keep your name in the game”.
She stated that she will go naked if she wants to be controversial.
“If I wanted to be controversial, I will go naked. That is the easiest way to sell myself but I didn’t. Sex sells and I have enough to sell. I’ve been in the industry for over ten years and I know how to be controversial.”
