Kumawood actress, Mercy Asiedu, has vowed to stay in her marriage for life, asserting that she has no intention of leaving her husband.

In a recent interview with Emelia Brobbey, Asiedu declared, “I’ve promised myself that the only time I’ll take off my wedding ring is when I die. Even then, it will be my husband who removes it.

“I can’t imagine anything that would make me leave my marriage unless my husband chooses to leave. As long as he’s with me, I’m staying.”

The actress, who has been married for seven years, attributed the strength of her marriage to patience.

“Patience is what has kept my marriage strong. It’s a quality I’ve practiced throughout these seven years with my husband,” she emphasised.

Mercy Asiedu is married to Nana Agyemang Badu Duah, the Paramount Chief of Kunsu.

The couple tied the knot on April 2, 2017.
