I'll perfectly play the role of Assemblyman in 'Major Mahama's' movie

Popular Kumawood actor Akwesi Boadi aka Akrobeto has indicated that he will perfectly play the role of the Assemblyman William Baah who is alleged to have incited the mob that lynched Major Mahama in a yet to be produced movie based on the late major's predicament.

There have been mixed reactions as to whether it's necessary to produce a movie based on the late major’s predicament.

Multiple award winning actress Nana Ama Mcbrown is one of the numerous personalities frowning against the idea of producing the movie.

Since opinion differs, Akrobeto in a telephone conversation with Kwesi Aboagye on Peace Fm’s Entertainment review delineated passionately that he is also in support of those craven for a movie to be produced.

He stressed that producing the movie would educate and refrain people from repeating such a barbaric act.

When asked if he would like to play the role of the assemblyman purported to have incited the mob that Lynched the late Major, Akrobeto with much humor told Kwasi Aboagye that:

“Oh yes, I can play the role of that Assemblyman…You know me already …I will play it perfectly and even better",

There are still conflicting accounts as to circumstances that let to the death of Major Mahama a fourth night ago --who was the platoon Commander at Denkyira-Boase in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region

Whereas military command and police investigators claim he was going on jogging and stopped to buy snails from the woman who saw a sidearm on him and snitched the assemblyman who then mobilized angry residents to Lynch him, another account claimed he was invited to a meeting with a prior motive of killing him.

Over 50 suspects have so far been apprehended.The late Major was buried on Friday 9th June,2017 at the Osu Military Cemetery in Accra.
