Ghanaian hip-hop and afrobeat artiste, Lord Paper whose real name is Michael Takyi-Frimpong has indicated his readiness to revive Borga Highlife music in Ghana after many people fell in love with his song ‘Asa Bone'.

Whilst Sarkodie and EL are doing their best to challenge their colleagues to revive Azonto music in Ghana, Lord Paper rather believes the music that resonates with the general populace is highlife.

In a virtual interview with Cape Coast’s finest radio personality, Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Lord Paper revealed that due to the massive request he’s getting lately due to his ‘Asa Bone’ song, he’ll come out with a Borga Highlife album.

He stated that “the way the request is coming after I released my borga highlife song ‘asa bone’ I’m even planning on doing a borga highlife album.

“I want to do it solely for borga highlife and I’m not even planning because it is something I’m currently working on.

"I want to do it for the people but I won’t limit myself to borga highlife alone because I can do hip-hop and afrobeat as well.

“But definitely I will drop a couple of Borga Highlife songs because those in Ghana and abroad are really loving it so this year expect the album”.
