"I love Shatta Wale’s 'Kakai'", former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings confessed on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Wednesday, June 29.

The founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP) said she enjoys a number of Ghanaian tunes, but enjoys the songs of the young artiste.

“I enjoy Kojo Antwi’s songs and that of Shatta Wale, I dance to his tunes but unfortunately I can’t sing any lines in the song, I think I like Kakai,” Nana Konadu added.

Nana Konadu was born on November 17, 1948. She attended Achimota School in Accra and later continued at the University of Science and Technology, where she read Arts, specializing in Textiles.

She was a student leader and an executive of her Hall of residence, Africa Hall. She got married to former President JJ Rawlings in 1977.

She is the flagbearer of the National Democratic Party.
