Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Michael Okine popularly called Jupitar has confidently described himself as one of the top 10 music stars in the country at the moment.
According to him, there is no way he will be counted out of the country’s top ten biggest artistes.
Jupitar is the only Ghanaian nominated in the upcoming 2017 Urban Music Awards UK.
He blamed his idleness at major concerts and inconsistent radio airplay to media bias, accusing presenters of not paying attention to his songs.
In an interview with Ricky Rick on Empire FM’s Entertainment Drive, Jupitar described himself eligible to be listed among Ghana’s Top 10 current musicians.
“As far as I’m concerned and as far as Ghana music is concerned, I keep saying most of the media is very selective………..Jupitar is not an underground artiste here in Ghana and to be honest with you when you’re mentioning the top 10 Ghanaian artistes currently my name would be somewhere there,” the vibrant dancehall artiste stated.
He believes he is better than some of the artistes in the industry.
