It appears Kumawood actor, Ebenezer Nana Yaw Donkor popularly known as Katawere knew he was in his last days on earth when he granted Deloris Frimpong Manso his last television interview before his death.

The celebrated Kumawood actor who died on Monday, November 14 had predicted the circumstances that would lead to his death.

Katawere had even gone ahead to prophecy that he would go to heaven after his death.

Speaking on the Delay Show in his last television interview before his demise, the actor when asked whether he was conscious of death said, “If you don’t think about death then you are from a different place. You should know that you came from somewhere and very soon you will be headed to another destination.”

He added that he was sure he would go to heaven following his death.

“…I am going to meet God. I know right and wrong. So I know that if I do right I will meet God in a right way. If I do wrong, I will not meet him in the manner I desire. I won’t do wrong because I want to meet God in a right way…God knows I am serving Him diligently”.

Speaking about his death, Katawere said he wanted a peaceful transition to his maker when the time was due.

“Death is something we cannot avoid. I just want God to allow me transition peacefully when the time is due. I know I will soon leave…”

Coincidentally, Katawere is reported to have died in his sleep last week Monday, as was his wish in the interview with Delay.
