A renowned Film Director cum Actor Samuel Kwabena Darko better known as Samdakus, has denied being a member of creative arts group calling themselves the Ashanti Faithful for Mahama.

According to him, he has never been part of the Ashanti Faithful for Mahama Movement.

The Head of Communications for Ashanti Faithful for Mahama Micheal Ola in an interview on Ashh fm in Kumasi outlined key personalities behind the movement.

The Ashanti Faithful for Mahama (AFFMA) was formed by some players in the creative arts industry including the Public Relations and Welfare Officer of FIPAG Michael Kwaku Ola, Director Isaac Rockson (General Overseer of AFFMA) Film Director Kwadwo Asare Bediako, Yaw Owusu Ansah, Kwabena Darko, Richard Sarkodie known as Osoode and many others.

But in a quick rebuttal on National Agenda show on Wednesday, Samuel Darko who doubles as the CEO of Kumawood Awards denied any involvement in the Ashanti Faithful for Mahama.

Samdakus said he is not a member of the movement, he was just invited to one of their programs.

He told host of the show Odeefour Kwasi Kay that, he can never be part of any political forces.

‘’Please I'm not a member of the movement and I don’t want to involve myself in this kind of politics ‘’he stated.
