Sassy singer Mzbel in a latest interview claimed things were going bad because of how she was launched into the entertainment industry.
Talking to Pluzz FM, the sixteen years hit maker said;
“Things were going bad because of how I was launched into the entertainment industry, so I decided to rebrand. We tried to rebrand to suit my corporate audience because those were the places I performed a lot and make most of my money from.
“But I realized that it was not going to work, people have tagged me as a sex icon so let’s do it and do it well. Let’s correct all the mistakes in the past and the new team I’m working with now came up with the idea of being covered up and all and I explained to them that we tried that and didn’t work.
“So they said if its sex appeal you are known for let’s do it well and make sure the makeup is good and the pictures are good and not offensive and let’s put it out and work in that direction. And we agreed, and that’s what we are doing. But people will always find ways to insult you and tag you with negative things. We all make mistakes, and I admitted earlier that we made a mistake back then because I had no clue how this whole thing worked.
“We are trying to correct it, and people will continue to tag you with negative stuff and it’s bad. So I had to make it clear that I’ not a porn star. I’m a Ghanaian artist, and I’m very confident and comfortable with my body. I’m known for my sex appeal, and so we have decided to do it right and do it clean. So people should just understand and let’s move on. “
