Nero X, known privately as Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng, a Highlife singer, has responded to critics who claim his career will die after doing a campaign song for John Mahama.

According to the 'Mahama for 2024' crooner, those who are saying his career will die like the Ghanaian comic actor, Mr. Beautiful, aren't God and cannot determine his destiny.

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Property FM, he queried, "So after Mr. Beautiful was sabotaged and his career died for supporting NDC and Mahama, is he dead or is he still alive?

"Mr. Beautiful is even okay and living his life more than most of the people who planned to kill his career for throwing his support behind Mahama.

"So it answers it because the mind of humans cannot be the mind of God, and when I supported the other side, I didn't have such criticisms.

"Everyone has their destiny, so if someone did it and it didn't end well for the person, maybe the person didn't do it with good intentions," he disclosed.

"If I support Mahama now and he comes and things don't go well, I'll move to support someone else and have the right to support whoever I want, so nobody should take it personally," he urged.
