Lynx Entertainment label act and BET Award nominee, MzVee has said she’s ready for a collaboration with self-acclaimed Dancehall queen and Xtra Large Entertainment artiste, Kaakie.
According to her, she doesn’t see why such a partnership should be difficult to happen.
Industry watchers believe there’s tension between the two artistes following the release of Kaakie’s “Sankwas” song which featured hiplife musician Guru in which she’s believed to have dissed MzVee with reference to a line in the song which says: “opposition want make we fall…them try hard to be we, but they end up skinny and lean.”
In what is seen by many as a response to the attack on her, MzVee in her new single titled “Make I Shine” claims, Jah (God) appointed her as Ghana’s Dancehall Queen.
She described Kaakie as a loudmouth, adding that she should leave her to shine. She has however since denied her song was a reply to Kaakie.
Speaking on Morning ride on Metro TV Saturday, MzVee bemoaned attempts by some industry players to create a fight between herself and Kaakie, as there is no ill-feeling between them.
"For us to waste time trying to fight…I don’t think it is needed; we are playing too much and I think we should take things seriously. It’s really funny how things are happening.
We (She and Kaakie) went to the same school and the last time I saw her we spoke and everything was okay so I have no idea what is going on.”
