I'm the best thing to ever happen to Nigerian music industry – Brymo

Brymo Brymo

There seems to be a wake up call among Nigerian musicians at the moment.

Days after legendary rap act and “Africa’s hip hop liaison”, Jude Abaga, better known by his stage name M.I released a new single You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives directed at rap artists who have suddenly turned into singing just for popularity and asking them to get back on track, Brymo has also sparked another conversation.

The Ara hit maker who undoubtedly remains one of the best songwriters in Nigeria sent out a tweet describing himself as the “best thing to ever happen to the Nigerian music industry.”

The tweet has since generated a lot of conversation with many obviously coming for his head. Although others admit he is one of the best the country has seen, the do not agree to the fact that he claims to be the best to have ever happened to the Nigerian industry.

Another section of the populace also assert that Brymo would rule the Nigerian music industry if only content mattered.

According to another tweep, Brymo has no hit single apart from Ara and so could not describe himself as the best to have ever happened to the Nigerian music industry.
