I'm the ordained Dancehall King - Samini

Samini Samini

Andrew Samini, known in showbiz circles as Samini Dagaate has revealed in an interview that he is still Ghana’s dancehall king.

Samini was answering a question from host David Mawuli on who he (Samini) think is the dancehall king in Ghana.

The ‘My own’ crooner laughed and said as far as he is concerned he is still the dancehall king owing to the fact that he is sitting on his throne and minding his own business.

“As far as I am concerned I am sitting on my throne and minding my own business, hashtag my own business. I ain’t never move, I ain’t never shaken. I see a lot of people crop up, I see an established nation that I am proud of, I am happy”.

According to Samini he is more than a monarchy, he is the ordained dancehall king and he is here for a purpose.

“Once you think you have to ask me whether I am on my throne or not, it means you still see me there, God makes kings and people see the manifestation in them. We’ve seen nations rise and fall, and we’ve seen nations thrive and observe”.

Samini said one of the reasons why he is still relevant is because he has chosen to mind his own business instead of focusing on other people and what they do.
