I’m ‘untamable’ – Samini brags

Samini Samini

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall recording artiste, Samini, has categorically stated that the success of his newly launched album proves a point that he is ‘untamable’.

Samini officially launched his “Untamed” album on December 22, 2018, during his annual Saminifest Concert at the Osu Oxford Street in Accra.

Just a week after the lunch, the album hit number 8 on Billboard’s top 10 reggae albums and song list, something Samini described as part of its success.

Speaking on TV3’s New Day on Wednesday, the artiste who is admired for his flair with live band performance revealed the secret behind the “untamed” album.

“The story behind the album has to do with all I have been through straight from my first album to the sixth, through the ups and downs, the rivalry and the hard seasons”, he revealed

“I see myself as untamable,” he bragged.

He added the album proved to be untamable in its first week.

Explaining the secret behind his formidable brand over the years, Samini noted writing ‘hit music’ is different from a timeless project.

He said apart from the music being divine, it is also about being focused.

“It’s about staying focused, sticking to the rules of the game and also doing everything you need to do right, it becomes a timeless music if you work more on the sound” he explained.

“I became famous very early hence I had to spend much time learning on the job even before I became mature, so I am very careful about the things I do”, he added
