Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, also known as Ahoufe Patri, has clarified some rumours regarding her mental health.
According to her, she was never depressed as some reports indicated.
In a candid conversation on 'Between Hours' on May 9, 2024, Ahoufe Patri, whose real name is Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, expressed her concern at such claims, stating she had never used the word 'depressed' to describe herself in an interview.
"There was a story that came out to say that I opened up about my depression, but I never said that.
"It gives me goosebumps talking about this because that word [depression] is something I never used on myself.
"I don't think people think about the things they put out there for others to read. What bloggers put out there about me still baffles me," she said.
She mentioned that she didn't refute such claims as she didn't see them as necessary and didn't want to give attention to such rumours.
"I didn't come out to refute their claims because it's not important. I believe that whatever you give attention to is what is going to grow," she said.
Ahoufe Patri added that she was not depressed, stating, "I am a very happy girl who is thriving."
