Female gospel musician, Gifty Osei popularly referred to as Empress, has revealed that, she spent about GHC50,000 just on décor at her executive album launch and the ten(10) years anniversary celebration.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio’s Sokoo Hemaa Kukua, the musician who released her first album ‘Aseda’ some ten years ago, said she also spent more than $US10, 000 on her dress for the event which was widely publicized.
According to her, that day was her day hence her decision to invest so much into celebrating her 10th anniversary in music.
''As a musician, I do not want to copy people. I want to be unique in whatever I do and so I do things differently to pave way for others to follow.''
When asked if she incurred any cost after the event, she said no adding, I did not incur any cost. I did proper planning and so I did not incur any cost.
The event which was witnessed performances from seasoned artistes like Bernice Ansah, Abena Ruthy, Jack Alolomi, Brother Sammy.
Her current album titled “Ebenezer’ which was also launched during the occasion has ten(10) tracks, consisting of Prophecy, Adom, Ebibinnwom, Worship Medley, Praises Medley, Adom instrumentation, Ebibinnwom Instrumentation, Praises Instrumentation and Ebenezer.
