I upheld my integrity - Actress

Actress, MC and TV presenter, Peace Hyde says she never compromised on the morals and values her parents inculcated in her, though some men made advances towards her in her journey to success.

Speaking on Brunch2Lunch with Abrantepa on Radio Univers, Peace Hyde said, “I have had a lot of different experiences, but I wouldn’t necessarily say that in particular is something that shaped my growth in this process."

Adding, "the fact of the matter is God has done a lot in my life. And I haven’t had to compromise myself in any way, shape or form because I’m focused on what He wants me to achieve.”

Though she wouldn’t share her ordeal, the well-endowed actress advised ladies to be strong and walk away from any advances that someone may make towards them adding that it was not fair to stigmatize people who are trying to make a living.

There have been major talks about some male personalities who will offer assistance to ladies on condition that they sleep with them.

An issue, many have said does happen in all sectors, but more pronounced in the entertainment industry because celebrities are in the eyes of many.

Peace Hyde reiterated that if someone makes advances, it may not necessarily mean that person is an opportunist; perhaps, he wants to have an intimate relationship with the lady.

“There are people you will meet that may be attracted to you and it’s not linked to an opportunity because, he might actually have an opportunity and also find you attractive," she told Abrantepa.
