One of Ghana’s fast-rising singers, Fameye recounts his struggle to fame, saying there have been so many false accusations levelled against him on his way to fame.
Popularly known for the chart-topping hit single “Notin I Get”, the highlife and afro-pop singer has been in the middle of controversies with his former label OG Music.
After getting his breakthrough single, Fameye decided to opt out of OG Music for reasons best known to him.
This issue grabbed many headlines and drew criticisms from industry people, with the majority of the public accusing Fameye of being ‘ungrateful’ for ditching his label after getting a hit.
But Fameye – who is running his record label now – in his latest Instagram post says the accusations are false, adding that his sudden rise to fame hasn’t been an easy journey.
In the post, he described himself as an orphan and says God has blessed him.
Fameye, who is out with a new single, titled “Speed Up”, shared a new photo with the caption: “Agyanka aa Nyame 3hyira me!!!! My sudden rise to fame has not been easy false accusations er day from all angles but Nyame nti we still #speedup my passion for music ??till I die Agye Nyame progress forever #speedup is out #takemedoEP is coming.”
