Multiple award-winning Gospel singers, Evangelist Diana Asamoah attended Otumfour Osei Tutu mother’s final funeral rites at Manhyia where she met ex-President J.J Rawlings.
She posted a picture of herself in an admirable handshake with the Former President during the burial service ceremony on Thursday.
Diana Asamoah disclosed that she has much love for Mr Rawlings, for this reason, she hopes her message wouldn’t be misinterpreted to make it seem as if she has switched camp to the opposition National Democratic Party (NDC).
She consequently advised party supporters to eschew political feuds and allow love to lead in all endeavours of their life.
“PAPA JAY. I have much love for this man. (I hope this doesn’t preach the wrong message and say I’m now NDC). Forget politics and let’s love one another that’s the first rule in the Bible.”
The remains of the late Queen mother will be buried on Thursday night at the Breman Toyal Mausoleum (Ban mu) after a brief stopover at the Bantama Royal Mausoleum (Ban mu) where some traditional rites will be performed.
Diana Asamoah endorsed Nana Addo’s candidature back in 2012. Since then, she’s been releasing songs to support him.
