Experienced Kumawood actress, Nana Ama McBrown Mensah has revealed that marriage is not all that rosy as many people think it to be especially when one is a public figure.

Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the actress revealed that her marriage has had its share of issues but she had devised a way of settling issues with her husband.

According to Nana Ama McBrown she was always committed to carrying out all her ‘wifely’ duties including cooking and taking care of her husband.

She indicated that as a wife, her ultimate goal was to see her husband happy and that was what she was going to stick to. She praised her husband and called him ‘sweet’ for being a very understanding man and making their marriage very beautiful.

The actress went on to reveal that she harbored hopes of breaking her mother’s record in terms of marriage. She indicated that her mother had been married for over 20 years but she was hopeful of going past her mother’s milestone.

She revealed that the secret to a lasting marriage was the commitment of the couple to solve issues that they encounter and endeavor to do it together as a team.

Nana Ama McBrown Mensah is believed to be one of Kumawood’s most sought-after actresses. As a result of her talent, she is noted as one of Kumawood’s wealthiest actresses having starred in over a 100 Kumawood-produced movies.

She is married to Maxwell Mensah. After her marriage to her husband, outspoken counselor, Counselor George Lutterodt is alleged to have indicated that the marriage was not going to last due to the age difference between Maxwell and Nana Ama.
