Contrary to claims that patrons who were invited to the NDC's Town Hall Meeting at the Bukom Arena were given predetermined questions, former President John Dramani Mahama has insisted that none of such things happened.
Earlier, Kwadwo Sheldon, in a series of rants on Twitter, claimed that the NDC invited him to the event, but he declined, and this is because they gave everyone they invited predetermined questions to ask to make it easier for Flagbearer John Mahama to answer.
Sheldon said he declined to join the launch since he didn’t want to be part of an already planned 'questions and answers event'.
But, in excerpts of videos from the event, Mahama has emphasised that people in the arena were made to ask their own questions from various fields.
"I was my own panelist and moderator. People in the arena got up and asked me any type of question, from archeology to zoology," he stated.
John Mahama added that he isn't scared to answer any type of question thrown at him, adding, "Because we speak the truth always, we are not afraid. Any question that is being asked, I answer it from my heart."
