I was depressed and uninspired after Ronny’s death – Prince Bright

Prince Bright and the late were Ronny Coaches were the known faces of the group Buk Bak even though it was started with the likes of Isaac Shootan a.k.a Papa Shotto.

The group since its inception had gone forward to win several awards both locally and internationally and even made a huge impact on the African music scene but unfortunately, on November 21, 2013 Ronny Coaches, an active member of the group died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

According to the other half of the group, Prince Bright, he almost stopped doing music because of that and said that “I was going through depression I got depressed and uninspired to do anything right after the demise of ronny. His death shook me and made me see life differently.“

Prior to the death of Ronny, the group had remained laid back for a while and it almost felt like they had abandoned music but spoke in an exclusive interview on Hammer Time Entertainment show on Pure FM and said “We didn’t abandon music, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial background so I decided to do something alongside music so I can support those who depend on me.

"I traveled aboard to earn a living but I didn’t have it easy though I had a lot of support.” Still explaining his move out of Ghana he said “I had to cut out but I wasn’t understood and the pressure wasn’t easy and at that time piracy was at its peak and we weren’t making money.” The artiste said.
