After divorcing his American wife of Six years two years ago, the Abodam Rapper, Kwaw Kese has revealed that the divorced affected both parties.

According to him, in an interview with Giovani on Route 919 on Live 91.9 Fm, though it is assumed that when there is a divorce, it is just one party that suffers, his case is different.

“The divorce I must say affected us.This is because, it is normal for two people who have been together for a long time to be affected with separation not to talk of divorce,” he said.

Kwaw who feed 4000 inmates during Valentine’s Day over the weekend said, he has moved on and gotten over the whole divorce brouhaha.

Talking about how he fared last year in terms making money, he said; I would say that I made a lot of money more than any musician last year especially in December. I played a lot of shows and I am not someone who blows his own horn that is why no one knows.”

Inmates of Nsawam prison had a special time over the weekend when Kwaw Kese spent Valentine’s Day with them.

The ‘Yakubu’ hitmaker was supported by Efya and Pope Skinny when he made donations worth thousands of cedis to the inmates.

Kese spent about a month in a Kumasi Prison for allegedly smoking in public after a performance at Luv FM’s Old School Reunion event.
