Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr has revealed that he is willing to drop the microphone for the work of the Lord.

He adds that if he receives that calling from the omnipotent to put down his musical tools to preach his word, he will not turn his back on God.

“If the Lord asks me to put down my musical tools to preach his word, there will not be turning back,” he assured.

Shatta Wale intimated that if the Lord asks him to stand in front of the pulpit and preach his word to people he will gladly do so to convert souls for Christ.

Shatta who claimed that sometimes his prophecies come through, disclosed he is a highly spiritual person who does not joke with God and the Bible.

‘I believe I can lay my hands on a sick person and make him/her strong,’ he said.

Speaking on Ultimate’s E-Review hosted by Naa Klordey Odonkor, Shatta Wale revealed that the only person who inspires him most is God his creator.

‘The only person who inspires me spiritually is God, I wouldn’t turn my back on God when he calls me to do his work, I will gladly do so, if he tells me to preach to his people I will do so. I say things today and they happen tomorrow,’ he indicated.

He believes that God is the only one who can make and unmake a person.
