I will go on set with my baby girl - Actress Portia Asare

Actress Portia Asare Boateng, who has delivered a new baby girl, has disclosed in an exclusive interview with Peacefmonline.com that she would take her new daughter on set if need be.

Portia is who still on a maternity break from the silver screen, said she wants to have a very strong intimate mother and daughter relationship with her new baby, so she wants to spend a lot of time taking care of her.

Asked when she is returning to acting Portia said “I will return very soon because just about three months after childbirth, there are already several calls from movie producers for me to return on set”.

She said she is concentrating on motherhood for but if the producers still insisting on getting her to come on set, then she would either consider taking the role of a nursing mother or she would have no choice than to take her little daughter with her on set.

“I wouldn’t mind a role as a nursing mother for now because I would have to go on set with my baby girl so I might as well act with her in the movie as my daughter”, Portia said with laughter.

Asked why she wouldn’t rather hire a nanny to take care of her daughter while is shooting, Portia said she can easily afford a nanny but she doesn’t need one because there are family members who are ready to take of her baby but she wants to take care of her daughter herself and nobody else.

The beautiful screen goddess who is now known as Portia Aidoo gave birth on July 23, 2015, at the Resolve Hospital at Community 18 in Tema.

This is Portia’s second child after her son Samuel Kwabena Aidoo also known as Kobby who is now 12 years old, and she revealed the name of her cute daughter exclusively to Peacefmonline.com as Keziah Nana Yaa Adoma Aidoo.

Portia got married to Rev. John Wilberforce Aidoo on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in Tema Community 5.

Mrs. Aidoo has acted in several movies and would be remembered more recently for her reprising role in Kwaw Ansah's ‘The Good Old Days.'

“I know they still love me, and I love them too. I thank them for supporting me and those who called and sent me all the nice messages, I appreciate it. God bless them for praying for me, and they should keep praying for”, this was Portia’s message to her fans.
