Gospel musicians imposing a fee on church performances has become a discussion on major media platforms.

Whilst some gospel musicians will charge before agreeing to minister at churches, minstrel Abigail Coleman has divulged that she does not fix a charge when booked to perform at churches. To her, she is not in the music business to make wealth so she will not put a price on her church performances since that is also her contribution to winning souls for Christ.

Speaking to DJ Roar on Kessben FM in Kumasi, the musician who recently released ‘Tumi’ and ‘Me Kra’ however added that she will be glad of the church ‘blesses’ her after the song ministration. Explaining why she needs the ‘blessing’ from the church after her performance, Mrs. Coleman revealed that her band and backing vocalists need to be taken care of so the money would be used for their errands.

On how she will finance her works since she is not charging for church performances, Abigail Coleman who resides in Canada made it known that churches are not the only platforms she will have the chance to perform so she will invest money earned from other concerts into her ministry.

She quickly added that God will also make wonders since He is aware of her plan not to fix a price on her ministration at churches.
