Celebrated Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang aka Pusher who earned his popularity in ‘Things We Do for Love” TV series has spoken about his resolve not to kiss any woman in a movie again.
While making the revelation on Accra 100.5 FM on their entertainment show dubbed Entertainment Capital, he explained that the decision is what he has made a long time ago but is yet to be believed by his female actresses who have continued to make several attempts to kiss him during rehearsals.
Pusher said kissing in movies is sometimes fake but some of the directors want the actors to make it real which to him is not part of his carrier.
“These are different times in the country so whatever we are facing, we need to find ways and means of going around it to make our industry healthier. There is a need for us not really to kiss, but to fake it. We should make it believable with the help of camera angles and yes I really don’t like ladies because I feel intimidated by their presence,” he admitted.
He went ahead to establish that apart from funds which are not available to the industry from government or investors to make it more lucrative, actors, directors, and Ghanaians are refusing to learn.
“There are many learning materials available on the internet which is easy to access. It’s not all about the classroom education but we must go with the digital world and get things done the right way, was his piece of advice to up and coming actors and Ghanaians in everywhere they found themselves,” he advised.
