A Private Legal Practitioner, Francis Sosu says he will sue TV3 Network for taking off-air their eloquent newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah for alleged ‘photo theft’.

According to him, he is ready to be counsel for the beleaguered presenter in court if she avails herself to question her employers for their action against her.

TV3 Network has for now taken Nana Aba Anamoah “Off Air” – the action comes after days of massive public ridicule against the outspoken presenter following her alleged involvement in an “online information and photo theft” on twitter.

In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the station, Augustus B. Dickson, Nana Aba will be excused from air – “after preliminary investigations internally, and in accordance with TV3’s own commitment to the highest level of professionalism, Management has decided to take Nana Aba Anamoah off air until further notice.”

“As a broadcast network that prides itself in upholding high ethical standards and delivering credible and trustworthy content to its viewers, TV3 would like to assure viewers and other key stakeholders that it shall continue to take all necessary steps to maintain such standards,” the statement noted.

But the Human Right Activist, Francis Sosu argued on NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie with Kwesi Aboagye that the approach by TV3 was unlawful – “I will challenge the station in court if Nana Aba is ready to do that with me”.
