Reigning Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year, Joe Mettle has posited that he has no friend who happens to be gay.

The minister of the Gospel real name Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle in a recent interview on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show could not a take stand on the gay subject. The ‘Boo No Ni’ hitmaker who did not endorse nor condemn the act told Zionfelix, host of the show that none of his friends have come out to be gay.

When asked if he would cut ties with a crony if he later confesses to be gay, the Reverb Studio recording artiste paused for a while, pondered over the question answered no. Joe mentioned that he will rather help the fellow who has come out as gay to see the light instead of abandoning him. To him, it is the duty of a Christian to help the other when he goes wayward.

Joe Mettle continued that he would let the person enjoy life as a gay after failing to heed to his advise on countless occasions. Mr. Mettle believes any individual will account for his works on earth so he cannot force the friend to change his ways as gay.

Joe Mettle won the Artiste of the Year award over Medikal, Stonebwoy, MzVee, Sarkodie and E.L. in the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
