Ghanaian food vlogger, Sweet Adjeley has opened up about her YouTube earnings and her commitment to her Ghanaian audience.

In an interview with Neat FM on July 26, 2024, Sweet Adjeley revealed that even though the revenue from Ghanaian views (which make up 75% of her views) is not as lucrative as that from American views, she values the love and support from her Ghanaian followers and continues to create content for them.

“If I was doing this for money, I would have quit because the money I make from the views from Ghana is not as good as the money I will be making from views from America. But Ghanaians love me,” she said.

She explained that YouTube earnings are highly dependent on the number of views and the location of the viewers.

"Someone can have a million views on a video and make just $200 because of where the video is being watched," she noted.

Sweet Adjeley highlighted that views from the US typically generate higher revenue compared to views from Ghana.

However, she emphasised her dedication to her Ghanaian audience, stating that she prioritises their appreciation over monetary gains.
