Nollywood actress, Ronke Oshodi-Oke is angry about the ‘rubbish’ and ‘nasty’ things children now indulge in and she blames an uncontrolled internet access and social media for it.
Speaking in a clip shared on her Instagram, the plump actress, after saying she is unhappy about some things she sees on the internet, advised other young mothers to ‘read our children very well, not even by age, when your children is grown, you’ll know that he or she is able or capable to go on the internet. Internet is rubbish now, I see the way we promote bad bad things. I don’t understand, I don’t know where our culture and tradition is. Just because we want to make money, just because we want to make name, we start doing rubbish, nasty things!’
She continued, ‘Our children are very fast in thinking these days, and you’ll see a 22-year-old boy that wants to make N10m-N15m, so by doing all these rubbish on the internet, they’ll think it is right,’ before urging various media outlets to play their parts.
‘This is really sad,’ she lamented.
Ronke, 42, is married with two children.
