Is Hannah Marfo indirectly begging Zylofon Media? And is NAM1 tired already?

Hannah Marfo Hannah Marfo

Veteran gospel singer Hannah Marfo’s story is one that touches the heart.

The queen of gospel in the late 90s recently opened up on her financial struggles despite being a big star in the 90s as a gospel artiste. That however was the least of her predicament. To make matters worse, she revealed that her daughter was in a serious health condition that required GHS43,000 for her to undergo a medical surgery.

Since the news came out, the desperate mother has been to a host of radio stations trying to appease to the sympathy of Ghanaians, with the hope that help will eventually come from somewhere somehow.

While she may not necessarily have made mention of any names of people who should as a matter of urgency come to her aid to help her save her daughter, one name silently rings in our minds and sounds as though all cry is indirectly calling on that man to do something. A man no less than Nana Appiah Mensah, one of Ghana’s youngest millionaires and more significantly a major financier of the music industry.

Nana Apppiah Mensah for the past three years has been the biggest financier of the industry with investment spanning from record label ownership, artistes signings and donations to dozens of veteran artistes.

All his goodwill towards the industry has come with its own challenges, now it seems the weight of the whole music industry is upon his shoulders and any serious issue such as Hannah Marfo’s predicament has become his unspoken responsibility.

But is Nana Appiah Mensah tired already? Over the last three years, the kind of donations he has made to the industry has been crazy. $10,000 Cash To Jewel Ackah, GHS 50,000 towards Ebony’s funeral, $1 million Zylofon Arts Fund and many others the media could not capture.

Nana Appiah Mensah upon all his riches is definitely human and if he gets tired of all this, it will be very much understandable looking at how much he has already spend on artistes and the industry, most of which he is yet to get returns.

Hannah Marfo is a desperate mother who is still on a hunt for a helper and will definitely have Nana Appiah Mensah in mind while she continues to cry for that eternal help to save the life of her daughter. It remains only a matter of time before we know if NAM1 is tired already.

But for now Hannah Marfo can bank her hopes on a reported gospel concert set to be organized by gospel artistes to help raise money for her daughter’s surgery.

Should Nana Appiah Mensah assist her through NAM Mission? Why can’t Gospel musicians donate money to someone they once referred to as a role model? What happened to all her royalties? What is her Church doing about this? What about the many musicians she brought up? What are the Pastors and Prophets who used her for programs doing?Story/Article by Asembi.com.
