Big Brother Naija alum, Segun Olusemo, better known as Sheggz, has expressed his views on financial dynamics within relationships, stating that equal financial contributions from a woman in a relationship aren't the best.
On the 'Bahd And Boujee' podcast, Sheggz shared his belief that while a woman may contribute to household expenses, it should not be on par with the man's contribution.
In his relationship with Bella, his partner and fellow reality show star, he revealed that she contributes approximately 20 percent to their expenses, while he covers the remaining 80 percent.
"I believe it's disrespectful for my partner to pay my bills or even her own bills. I'm attracted to hardworking women, and my partner is indeed industrious and successful. However, I see my earnings as belonging to both of us, while her income remains hers," Sheggz explained.
He further clarified, "There's no splitting everything down the middle in my household. We operate on an 80/20 basis. Claiming 100 percent would be unjust. My partner doesn't feel burdened when she spends because it's not a frequent occurrence. I'm of the opinion that men are inherently providers."
