US-based Ghanaian Rapper Teephlow, has expressed his deep concerns about the current state of affairs in Ghana in a post on X.
His heartfelt message resonates with many who are feeling the weight of the country’s challenges.
“It is my sincere hope that God will provide a solution, allowing everyone to leave Ghana and abandon the country.
“It is indeed disheartening to witness such circumstances,” Teephlow stated, highlighting the struggles many Ghanaians are grappling with.
His words reflect a growing sentiment among the youth who feel the need to escape the economic and social difficulties in their homeland.
“If you are not diligent in managing your finances, you will face difficulties,” he warned, emphasizing the importance of financial awareness and responsibility.
His assertion is based on alarming reports indicating that more than 30 galamsey protesters have been detained.
It is important to remember that these protesters were accused of depleting Ghana’s natural resources and jeopardizing the well-being of future generations.
Nevertheless, the protest saw numerous arrests, resulting in only two individuals attending the final day of the demonstration.
To date, 39 individuals have been placed in police and prison custody, with additional participants, including one of the group’s leaders, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, still pending court appearances.
