It’s overstretched to say K.K Fosu is an underground artiste – Dada Hafco calls for calm

Ghanaian Highlife musician K.K. Fosu has come under heavy criticism following his remark about deceased blogger John Claude Tamakloe.

If you recall, the late Tamakloe died in a car accident that involved musicians K.K. Fosu and Bless.

He was laid to rest last weekend. K.K. Fosu and Bless were not seen at the funeral, which has triggered hefty chastisement targeted at them.

Following this, K.K. reportedly told Sister Sandy in an interview on ADOM TV that he did not know John Claude, which is why he did not attend his funeral.

While the criticisms have not ceased, Dada Hafco, a Ghanaian musician, has condemned the criticisms targeted at his colleague.

In a Facebook post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the ‘Puupuu’ singer admitted that Fosu did not react well to his absence at the funeral. However, he thinks critics should calm down with their criticisms.

“K.K. may not have spoken well, but to say he’s an underground artiste and doesn’t have a hit song bla bla is too far overstretched…I wish he had issued a statement instead of speaking because I know the struggles with K.K.’s communication….

“I believe we can all help him do the needful and do better, but don’t WIPE away what he’s done or achieved….Asɛm na aba ntia,” he wrote.
