Ghana Music.com: Why are you here?
Jay Q: Rich City has the updated Pro-tools in Ghana and West Africa. Also, I have the machines I want to work with and with Rich City, the atmosphere is free.

Ghana Music.com: Why is it that the artistes you've been producing and upcoming ones still want to work with you even though you've been changing environments?
Jay Q: That should tell you they are in love with my works and not the studio and I am happy about that.

Ghana Music.com: What is new about you?
Jay Q: I have a new compilation coming out and this time round, it is going to be something else. I have a lot of untapped talents on the new 'bomb'.

Ghana Music.com: How long have you been here... I mean this studio?
Jay Q: Only two months

Ghana Music.com: What do you think of the state of hiplife music?
Jay Q: It should improve. More works need to be done.

Ghana Music.com: What has changed about Jay Q since you are now in a modern studio?
Jay Q: Nothing has changed about me. It's still the 'breaking of bottles' on sounds I produce which has made people fall in love with me the more.

Ghana Music.com: Are you the only sound engineer here?
Jay Q: There are other sound engineers here namely Madness and Ro Q, my blood-brother.

Ghana Music.com: Any words for the upcoming artistes?
Jay Q: Upcoming artistes should think of their education first.
